I'm *hideously* behind with updating this. Sorry.
What I'm reading - The Company of Strangers - Robert Wilson. Like Wilson's previous book (A Small Death in Lisbon) this is set in wartime Lisbon, following the conflict created by neutrality. So far, it's extremely interesting and teaching me more of the WWII history that I never paid attention to in school.
Websites I'm watching - the Yosemite webcam. It never comes close to snowing in England (well, not really); in winter this webcam gives me a vicarious winter to enjoy - and remember Yosemite; I went there in the summer and was astonished and delighted by the place.
What I'm listening to - Madredeus - Antologia - gorgeous modern Portuguese music that echoes a history of the land and embodies saudade, the defining Portuguese emotion.
